Onno has outlined the key points for Photoshop for fashion and poured them into an effective course. With the core values you learn in this course, you make a strong start in preparing work for your fashion drawings. You will also learn the most important skills for designing fashion artworks and learn the basics of creating patterns in Adobe Photoshop.

Onno Rijpstra graduated in 1994 from the Utrecht School of the Arts and has taught countless (fashion) designers how to work with Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign since 2005. That is why he is also certified by Adobe (ACE). He will be providing the Photoshop course for fashion for you.

Selecting

Working in Photoshop selecting pixels is one of the most important and complicated issues. Learn different kind of selecting and when to use which method. The power of Photoshop is the 'non destructive' character. This means that anything you edit on a layer can be corrected later. While removing a background (one of the most attentive things you do in Photoshop) you will learn to work 'non destructive' in Photoshop.

• Select an object using the Object Selection Tool.
• Refine the selection in the 'quick mask mode'.
• Refine the mask.
• Create a selection using the magic wand tool.
• Create a selection using the lasso tool.

Onno heeft de kernpunten voor Photoshop voor mode op een rijtje gezet en in een doeltreffende cursus gegoten. Met de kernwaarden die jij leert in deze cursus maak jij een sterke start om werk voor te kunnen bereiden voor jouw modetekeningen. Je leert ook de belangrijkste vaardigheden voor het ontwerpen van mode artworks en leert de basisbeginselen voor het maken van dessins in Adobe Photoshop.

Onno Rijpstra is in 1994 afgestudeerd aan de Hoge School voor de Kunsten te Utrecht en heeft sinds 2005 ontelbaar veel (mode) vormgevers leren werken met Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop en Indesign. Daarom is hij ook door Adobe gecertificeerd (ACE). Hij gaat de Photoshop cursus voor mode voor jou verzorgen.

Penselen

• Meerdere gereedschappen werken als een penseel. Leer over hoe je met deze penseel methode om gaat. Zoals een sneltoets waarmee je de penseel groter en kleiner maakt. Alleen dat al is een enorme tijdbesparing tijdens het werken met Photoshop. 

 

Selecteren

In Photoschop delen van een laag selecteren is een van de belangrijkste en meest complexe onderwerpen. Leer de verschillende vormen van selecteren en wanneer je welke vorm gebruikt. De kracht van Photoshop is het 'niet destructieve' karakter. Dit betekent dat alles wat je in een laag aanpast, later nog gecorrigeerd kan worden. Tijdens het verwijderen van een achtergrond (een van de meest voorkomende handelingen in Photoshop) leer je in Photoshop te werken op een 'niet destructieve' manier.

• Selecteer een object.
• Verwijder achtergrond
• Verfijn de selectie' via diverse methodes.
• Maak een selectie met gebruik van de Toverstaf.
• Maak een selectie en verfijn een selectie met het gereedschap Lasso.
• Het voordeel van het gereedschap veelhoek lasso.
• Selecteer een kleurbereik.
• Maak een selectie van alle pixels van een laag.
• Bewaar een selectie en gebruik deze later.
• Deselecteren.

 

Aanpassingen

• Niveaus.
• Kleurtoon - verzadiging.
• Helderheid - contrast.
• Kleurbalans.
• En meer.

 

Effecten zoals

• Patroonbedekking.
• Satijn.

 

Herhaling patronen

• Naadloos herhalend bloem patroon maken.
• Opslaan herhaald patroon.
• Een selectie vullen met het opgeslagen patroon.
• Patroonvoorvertoning (!).

 

Kleuren

• Reduceren van een full color scan naar een beperkt aantal kleuren.
• Opnieuw inkleuren.
• Een kledingstuk uit een foto van kleur veranderen. 

 

Retoucheren

• Leer delen van een afbeelding te klonen, te verwijderen en bij te werken zonder zichtbare beschadiging van de afbeelding.
• Gebruik 'vullen met behoud van inhoud'. 
• Gebruik maken van het gereedschap verwijderen. 

 

NEURAL FILTERS

• Gebruik kunstmatige intelligentie om:
  • Kleuren uit een foto te extraheren. 
  • Vervang het totale kleurbeeld van een foto met het kleurbeeld van een andere foto. 
  • Vervang de bewerkingstechniek van een foto met die van een andere foto. 

 

Samenwerking tussen Photoshop en Illustrator

• Maak een bitmap afbeelding in Photoshop die transparant en in kleur aanpasbaar is in Illustrator.
